I’m going on vacation and I’m super pasty. Is there a way for a guy to get a sun kissed look without looking too orange or like a fake tan?
A:
I’ll start by saying nothing says vacation like a good tan. Something I like to keep going year round. Because the sun is so intense and we all need to be wearing sunscreen, I have some sunless tanning favorites.
One of my favorite products can be found at your local drug store and something I’ve been using over 10 years. L’oreal Paris Self-Tanning Mist is an easy at home fail proof self tanner. I like to apply it in the AM to a moisturized face. As the day goes on your tan will increase. I like to use this a few days in a row before a trip. Then use it only as necessary through out your trip. It’s great for the whole body, but I really love it for the face.
If self tanner isn’t for you, I have another option and kit favorite. Tom Ford Bronze Gel. Tom Ford is the ultimate men’s line and geared specifically for you. This product can seem intimidating, the key to using is to blend! Apply to a moisturized face, preferably on top of your favorite SPF.
And if these options don’t seem ideal you can always go with a classic powder bronzer applied with a big fluffy brush to the high points of your face. Anywhere the sun would naturally kiss you. I like MAKE Beauty Bronzing Bricks.
