Best Vegan Spots With Actor Sinqua Walls

Louisiana-born, LA raised Sinqua Walls broke through in everyone’s favorite series Friday Night Lights before becoming one of the only Black American actors to ever play Sir Lancelot (on the ABC fan fave Once Upon a Time) and taking the lead in BET’s Soul Train series, American Soul, as the legendary and infamous Don Cornelius. His latest role, on Netflix’s Alicia Keys-produced Resort to Love, has been garnering him internet boyfriend status when photos went viral this week of the actor showing up to an event donning a logo Gucci suit and absolutely no shirt in sight, jacket unbuttoned—abs on full display. Safe to assume that besides having trained in some sport or another—including an early career as a top basketball prospect—for most of his life, the physique could be at least partly attributed to his adherence to a clean Vegan diet.

We may not be bold enough to ever sport nothing but gold chains under our designer suit, but if eating green is what it takes to get that eight-pack, sign us up. Luckily, he was happy to share the love by telling us his favorite vegan joints in LA and New York.
