A work from home playlist is a tall order. It needs to keep you awake without distracting. Sleepy or depressing songs are OUT. Nothing too melancholy. This is the time to focus and keep you motivated, not send you down memory lane of that long lost ex that left you for the guy with the better job. No guitar riffs. No audible cursing—let’s keep it professional, and gotta keep in mind those little ears that may be hanging around. Something to put you in a good mood, destress, but keep you in the zone. Not too disco—your butt needs to stay in your seat. Having said that, one thing we know for sure—it’s hard to feel stressed while listening to a little funk. Throw in a bit of blues, oldies, a bit of familiar 80s, and your mood is set.
